Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will pay a visit to Moldova on 18-21 February 2017 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Moldova.



Relations between Turkey and Moldova have flourished over these 25 years on the basis of mutual respect and common interests. While having no common borders, Turkey considers Moldova as a neighbouring country, and aims to further develop the ties in the future.



Deputy Minister Yıldız will be received by Moldovan President, Speaker of Parliament, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and inaugurate an exhibition and reception highlighting the 25th anniversary of relations in Chisinau. He will also visit Gagauz Yeri to meet Gagauz leadership, and meet with Turkish business circles active in Moldova.
